I had been trying so hard not to read a lot of news about what has been going on in hockey. I get so nervous and anxious about where everyone will end up. Of course, this has to do with Brian Campbell. He signed an eight year deal with Chicago Blackhawks. Apparently, he wanted to be living back east anyway. Chicago is so lucky. Ugh. Oh, Curtis Brown and Patrick Rissmiller won't be coming back either. Rissmiller signed with the Rangers (I think).
On a more happier note... the guy who scares the crap out of me every single time I see him on the ice (that would be Jody Shelley) will be returning to San Jose. Yay!! Also, Kristi Yamaguchi's hubby Bret Hedican has been "talking" about moving "closer" to the Bay Area where his hot chicky is from.
I'm very sad about soupie. I loved watching him skate off by himself with his head down, and his twisty moves he does, and the fact that he can never hear anything anyone says to him while on the ice. And I will never forget the "what the heck" incident. Good times, and all this makes me want to do is move to Chicago because those Blackhawks are extremely good looking.
In baseball news.... When Zito doesn't pitch, things seem to look good for the Giants. Coincidence? I think not. I'm really REALLY trying to be a positive supportive fan but he makes it so damn hard. (It's just food, not love) I have let that be the last thing I say about Zito that isn't positive. I promise.

Yeah, and along with Chicago having one of the best looking hockey teams (yeah no worries the Sharks are still #1 to me forever) they also have a nice looking baseball team. I'm referring to the Cubs who are playing the Giants tonight. Yeah. Definitely some good eye candy. This is why I don't get why more girls aren't into sports. If not for the game, at least for the athletes themselves. Yeesh.
